NBA: Westbrook scores 31 points in win to earn MVP award

A couple of notable items from the annual NBA All-Star game, the game being held outside of the US for the first time ever, as Toronto played host. And this was also the 18th and final appearance for legend Kobe Bryant, as the Lakers guard will be retiring at the end of the season. 

And the game, the Black Mamba was given a nice ovation from the crowd at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and he thanked them for the support.

League MVP Steph Curry who is known as a 3-point marksmen is able to get up for this dunk. You do not see that very often from the Chef.

The home crowd got to see their man DeMar DeRozan rock the rim -- as the East take the lead. Defense is none existant, the teams combined to 180 points at halftime, Carmelo Anthony dialling long distance here.

A former all-star game MVP Russell Westbrook making another run at the award -- he rocks the rim. He finished with 31.

Dwyane Wade got into the act -- getting the rebound on the put back.
