The book 'Xi Jinping: the Governance of China' has been introduced at the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague. It aims to promote mutual understanding between the two countries.
The seminar has attracted over hundreds people, including politicians, academics and media representatives. Some hot topics related to China are being discussed -- including the "One Belt One Road" Initiative, and the role of Chinese media. The book outlined the full political ideas of the top Chinese leadership. But it is not all about political theories -- the book also comes with Xi Jinping’s speeches, correspondences, and instructions from 2012 to 2014.
So far, the book has been published in 9 languages -- Chinese, English, French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Japanese -- with worldwide sales exceeding 5.4 million so far. The Czech version of the book is expected to be published this September, providing a new window for the Czech people to understand China.
