Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has called for efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of the state-owned enterprises. He gave the written instruction to a meeting on such work on Friday.
Li said SOEs have been working hard to ensure steady growth and employment, underpinning stable economic performances.
The premier called on the SOEs to take the lead in cultivating new growth dynamics and reforming the traditional growth dynamic. He stressed efficiency through technology, reforms, restructuring, and better management.
