The conventional missile force finished its first 100 missile launches in July 2011 and all the 100 missiles hit the targets.

China's strategic missile force, the Second Artillery Force of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), has contributed enormously to the modernization of the country's military development over the past years. Now as the 90th anniversary of the founding of the PLA is drawing near, this force has again come into the spotlight, and some special looks at the missile capability are coming available.
