China made history on Saturday after taking its 90th gold medal at the London Paralympics, refreshing its previous record of 89 golds at the 2008 Beijing Games.

周六中国队在伦敦残奥会上夺得第90枚金牌，刷新了2008年北京残奥会上89枚的前记录，光荣创造奥运新历史。

The 90th gold was clinched by Xue Lei in men's 100m-T11. Xue, 24, crossed the finish line in 11.17 seconds.

第90枚金牌由参与男子100米T11级金牌的选手薛雷夺得。薛雷124岁，以11.17秒的成绩跨越终点线。

At the Beijing Paralympics in 2008, the host country dispatched 332 athletes to compete in all 20 sports, and set a record of winning 89 gold medals. For London 2012, China sent in 282 athletes to compete in 15 out of 21 sports.
