The driver of a tanker truck was killed on Friday after his vehicle swerved and plummeted off a 40-meter-high bridge in Ganzhou City of east China
's Jiangxi Province.
Surveillance video of the accident, which occurred at around 08:10 a.m., shows the truck swerving out of control and heading directly towards the right side of the bridge where it broke through the guardrail before crashing on the riverbed below.
Police and firefighters rushed to the scene and took immediate measures to cool the truck as the fuel tank was broken. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
