The Chinese Consulate-General in Kuching, Malaysia has confirmed receiving a report that a Chinese tourist was kidnapped by unidentified armed men in the eastern state of Sabah.
The kidnappers are suspected to be Philippine rebels. The raid occurred at a hotel in the Singamata reef resort.
