At least 35 people have been killed in the landslides triggered by heavy rains in southeast Bangladesh, said an AFP report, citing
local authorities.
More casualties are likely to be found as emergency workers reached remote parts of the affected areas, said local police.
Rangamati and Bandarban are the most heavily affected districts.
Dhaka's flood forecasting center warned Tuesday water-levels in the country's major rivers were rising, while some were flowing over the danger mark, according to Xinhua News Agency.
