China's general Administration of Customs says exports in June hit more than $180 billion, an increase of 7.2 percent from last year.
The Customs data, released at a briefing on Thursday morning, also shows imports went up 5.5 percent to more than $150 billion. And the total foreign trade volume increased 6.4 percent to over $340 billion. Trade balance realized a surplus of $31.6 billion in June.
Meanwhile, the combined foreign trade volume in the first half of this year saw a year-on-year growth of 1.2 percent to more than $2 trillion. Exports increased 0.9 percent and imports went up 1.5 percent during the period, while the trade surplus stood at $102.86 billion.
