Conclusion: The change of stress in condyloid process, after internal rigid fixation of mandibular angle stabilizing fracture, may damage the biomechanical environment of condyle and it may be one of reasons that cause to TMD.

Methods In this study, 9 cases of fracture of the mandibular condyloid process in which there was osteosynthesis using the Kirschner pin were followed radiographically.

方法采用克氏针内固定治疗髁状突颈部骨折9例，通过摄全景片及关节片，观察髁状突复位情况、咬牙合关系恢复情况，下颌运动度及术后随访等综合评价疗效。

Results: In the injured side, the stress changed obviously, especially in anterior oblique surface and transverse ridge of condyloid process.
