Belgian police have arrested three more people with links to Tuesday's suicide bombings in Brussels that killed 31 people.
In the raid at Schaerbeek District, a man carrying a backpack was shot in the leg after refusing to obey police orders. Controlled explosions were also carried out. Prosecutors said the arrests were linked to a raid in Paris on Thursday, where an attack was apparently foiled. Nine people in total have been arrested since Thursday in Belgium and two in Germany.
Meanwhile, Belgian officials have named the second suicide bomber at airport as Najim Laachraoui. His DNA was found at sites of the November Paris attack.
As clear connections emerged between the militants involved in the two sets of attacks, more investigations into the links between the incidents have been launched to combat threats from other similar networks.
