Plenum就是“全体会议”，也可以用plenary session/meeting来表示。The seventh plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee 就是“中国共产党第十七届中央委员会第七次全体会议”。

出席会议的有中央委员（members of the Central Committee）、候补中央委员（alternate members of the Central Committee），中央纪律检查委员会委员（members of the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection），以及有关负责同志列席会议（participate as non-voting members）。
