台湾领导人马英九周一强调，不论在岛内或岛外，都不会推动“一中一台”和“台湾独立”
Ma made the comments when addressing a ceremony, held by Taiwan-based Straits exchange Foundation, to mark the 20th anniversary of the historic "Wang-Koo meeting," which laid the foundation for peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.
马英九在台湾海峡交流基金会举办的“辜汪会谈20周年”纪念茶会致词时如是说。“辜汪会谈20周年”为海峡两岸和平发展奠定了基础。
"We are all people of Chinese descent and we share blood ties, history and culture," he said, adding that the Chinese mainland and Taiwan have set a precedent for peacefully working out disputes.
“我们都是炎黄子孙，共享血缘、历史和文化，”马英九说，并强调中国大陆和中国台湾是和平解决争端的先例。
Ma said he hoped the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation and exchanges in multiple fields, including the economy, trade, culture, science and technology and environment.
马英九说他希望双方继续加深合作关系，加强在多种领域如经济、贸易、文化、科学技术和环境方面的交流。
He said, "It is of significance that we hold the ceremony here today."
他说，“我们今天在这里举行的意思意义重大。”
